The Schecter John Browne Tao-8 signature guitar is a bold 8-string with a beefy yet tight low end and top-tier craftsmanship! Flawless in every way the Tao comes loaded with John’s own Schecter USA Chaos Breaker and Colossus signature humbucking pickups which are sweet, articulate, and punchy.
A gorgeous flamed maple top covers a swamp ash body for warm tones and great looks. A thin “U” shaped maple/paduak neck with ebony fretboard and stainless steel frets are there to shred. The Hipshot bridge and Hipshot tuners are there for comfort and tuning stability and are renowned throughout the guitar playing world for their durability. Luminlay glow in the dark side dot markers are just another fantastic feature of this stunning guitar.

This instrument is in excellent, near mint condition. It has a finish flaw on the back of the neck (see picks) The techs found no other flaws or issues and it has little to no play wear. It looks, plays and sounds great! Please see pictures for overall condition of the guitar. The actual item for sale is shown in the photographs.

We are an authorized dealer for brand approved manufacturer refurbished guitars. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected, set up and cleared by a certified technician. They are sent there for many reasons, including: returns, cosmetic flaws, minor repairs, surplus & discontinued models. The serial numbers on the guitars may be partially altered and/or replaced and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" by the authorized refurbishing center per manufacturer agreements.
