The Guild D-260CE Deluxe is a beautifully designed, incredibly playable acoustic at a great price. The D-260CE features a solid spruce top and gorgeous striped ebony back and sides — a wonderful tonewood combination that produces stellar high and midrange tone with rich bass response. A gloss finish on the ebony back and sides lets its unique striping pattern really pop. In addition, a comfortable C-shaped profile mahogany neck with pau ferro fingerboard is incredibly responsive and playable, and the soft cutaway on this stellar acoustic gives you wonderful access to those higher notes. And when you're ready to plug in, Fishman Sonitone AP-1 pickup with volume and tone controls produces pristine amplified acoustic tone.
Guild acoustics: a heritage built on great woods and features
Guild has earned a solid reputation over the decades as one of America's premier early guitar makers. Its commitment to quality material and design is forefront with the solid spruce and mahogany on the D-260CE — a tonewood pairing renowned for its rich, varied voicing and resonance. The traditional dreadnought body with arched back on the D-260CE provides big sound and a great playing experience. A nubone nut and saddle also support great sustain and clarity. And a 1960s red tortoiseshell pickguard lends even more classic look and vibe. Added visual delight comes by way of a mother-of-pearl rosette and Guild Peak headstock logo
