Description & Specs
Employing a tried-and-true combination of tonewoods, elite onboard hardware, and specifications inspired by Gibson's original design, the Epiphone Hummingbird Studio is an accessible re-creation of the iconic Hummingbird model in its complete form — from appearance to playability. Spruce and mahogany enliven this timeless model's voice with traditional depth and clarity, while an agile mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a comfortable canvas for chords and melodies. This acoustic's scalloped X-bracing bolsters authentic projection, while onstage playability and studio reverie are guaranteed by a Fishman Presys preamp system. It's all topped off with an elite selection of hardware, including Grover "kidney bean" tuning machines and a belly-up rosewood bridge to keep this Hummingbird fluttering. Whether you're looking to add that authentic Hummingbird aura to your pre-existing acoustic arsenal or need a solid 6-string to kick off your musical forays, Epiphone's Hummingbird Studio deserves a top spot on any discerning guitarist's list.
