The D'Angelico Premier Gramercy is a single-cutaway grand auditorium acoustic-electric guitar with a distinct tone and high-end appointments. Boasting a solid spruce top, ovangkol back and sides and Fishman electronics, the Gramercy delivers a crisp, balanced acoustic voice complemented by warm lows and smooth highs. Its slim C-shaped neck and 12" fretboard radius provide a comfortable playing feel for chording and solos alike. Available in an iced tea burst finish with antique bronze hardware, the Gramercy blends contemporary playability with Art Deco-influenced styling. The D'Angelico Premier Gramercy is an acoustic-electric guitar that looks, sounds and plays like no other.
The Gramercy's solid spruce top and ovangkol back and sides provide an articulate acoustic tone with chimey highs, tight lows and balanced mids. Ovangkol, a West African tonewood similar to rosewood, gives the Gramercy warmth and depth. When amplified using the onboard Fishman pickup/preamp system, the Gramercy delivers a natural acoustic sound suitable for any performance setting.
The Gramercy's slim C-shaped neck and 12" fretboard radius provide a familiar feel for chording and lead playing. Its neck finish has been updated to a natural satin, allowing your fretting hand to glide smoothly up and down the neck. Dot inlays help guide you to each fret with classic style.
From its classy finish to antique bronze tuners and truss rod cover, every detail of the Gramercy reflects D'Angelico's commitment to excellence. The fretboard and headstock are adorned with D'Angelico's Premier series shield inlay. A bone nut and compensated saddle provide optimized intonation and sustain.
