The slim mahogany neck and 12"-radius ovangkol fingerboard provide great feel and playability, while the onboard Takamine TP-4TD preamp system gives you a built-in tuner and three-band EQ and gain controls for excellent amplified performance and versatility. This instrument was in excellent, near mint condition. Its headstock was snapped in shipping (see pics). It can be glued up and repaired to be a good player again. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected, set up and cleared by a certified technician. They are sent there for many reasons, including: returns, cosmetic flaws, minor repairs, surplus & discontinued models. The serial numbers on the guitars may be partially altered and/or replaced and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" by the authorized refurbishing center per manufacturer agreements.
