Alvarez’s Artist Elite series of acoustic-electric instruments pairs inspirational playing feel and performance versatility with premium-grade, gorgeous-sounding tonewoods. The result? Sumptuous sonics. The A70 baritone takes on single cut body shape of East Indian rosewood with a top of Sitka spruce, exuding a stunning woodgrain that’s laden with warmth, resonant projection, and articulate top-end clarity. A dovetail mahogany neck topped by a 20-fret East Indian rosewood fingerboard comes carved with a delightfully comfortable “Soft-V-to-C” profile, landing snuggly in the palms of all players. Top-shelf elements abound, from the real bone nut and saddle to Alvarez’s precision 20:1 tuning machines. Plus, the stage-ready LR Baggs Element pickup and StagePro Bronze preamp system — complete with a 3-band EQ, Tuner, and Phase control — means you’re well-equipped to take any stage with confidence. Whether you’re chasing an inspiring acoustic baritone sound or are in need of a true performer built for the stage, Sweetwater guitarists find the Alvarez A70 baritone an extremely worthy companion
