Description & Specs

The Schecter John Browne Tao-8 is an 8-string electric guitar designed for progressive metal, featuring a striking trans purple finish over a flamed maple top. Its 5-piece wenge and padauk neck with carbon fiber rods ensures speed and stability for the low F# string. Equipped with EMG active humbuckers, it delivers clear, powerful tones from warm to aggressive. The ebony fingerboard with jumbo stainless steel frets and a 25.5" scale promotes fast, precise playing. A hardtail bridge and locking tuners provide solid tuning stability, making the Tao-8 a versatile instrument for modern metal players seeking extended range and reliability.
