Aesthetically, it has a gorgeous flame maple back with a tobacco sunburst and gloss finish, an engraved gold armrest, gold hardware, fancy inlays and engraved heel and headstock back. The B17K-D's well-balanced tone resonates from its all-flame maple body and maple neck topped with an ebony fretboard and reliable D'Addario J60+ strings. Planetary gold tuners with separate coordinating rods ensure smooth tuning. This is definitely a banjo that'll bring attention to any performance and is a joy to play.

When this banjo arrived at the refurbishing center the authorized technician found no issues with the guitar. It has no flaws or repairs noted. Otherwise, It is in like new mint condition played for testing purposes only. 

The included hard-shell case may have a few scratches or scuffs but is also in overall excellent condition.

Some guitars are given a new serial number and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" or "2nd" by the authorized refurbishing center. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new!
