The full-bodied and powerful tone of this Guild dreadnought provides guitarists with a classic acoustic sound and balanced voicing. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides, the D-140CE also features an elegant cutaway for access to higher frets, and a hidden Fishman Sonitone pickup.
Additional features include an rosewood fingerboard and bridge, NuBone nut and saddle, and period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard. A mother-of-pearl rosette and Guild' iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s models complete the package.
The D-140CE includes Guild' new lightweight polyfoam case and is available in Natural gloss finish.

This is a refurbished instrument. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected and cleared by a certified technician. All of our guitars come with a new standard factory setup, but may require a small amount of fine tuning to fit the players personal taste. In order to prevent false warranty claims, the guitar is given a new serial number and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" or "2nd" by the authorized refurbishing center. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new!
Condition: The guitar has had a top seam repair by an authorized technician (see pics). The repair does not affect the guitars tone or structural integrity. Otherwise, it is in like new mint condition. Save Big!
