The BT-258E Deluxe 8-String Baritone from Guild offers a melodic layering of low-end harmony for an enchanting, harp-like sound. The BT-258E boasts a deep, full-frequency Baritone voice complemented by two octave strings for added sparkle. The arched rosewood back projects whole, low frequencies, while the solid spruce top ensures the high frequency, octave strings blend in gorgeously for a symphonic tone. The low end is great for filling in an ensemble or for playing standalone. The 8-string baritone is tuned B-E-a-A-d-D-F♯-B, 5 steps down from a standard guitar. Additional features include rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top and a mahogany neck with "C" profile.

Condition:

The guitar had a minor crack repair on the top bottom edge. It does not affect the guitars tone, play-ability or structural integrity in any way. Otherwise, it looks, plays and sounds great! The actual item for sale is shown in the photographs.

We are an authorized dealer for brand approved manufacturer refurbished guitars. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected, set up and cleared by a certified technician. They are sent there for many reasons, including: returns, cosmetic flaws, minor repairs, surplus & discontinued or last years models. The guitars serial number may be partially altered and/or replaced and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" by the authorized refurbishing center per manufacturer agreements. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new!
