Cordoba Esteso Master Series Classical Acoustic Guitar

Cordoba’s Esteso is built with either a solid European spruce or solid Canadian cedar top, paired with solid Palo Escrito back and sides. Palo Escrito is a variety of rosewood, renowned for its striking figure, great volume, and light weight. The Cordoba Esteso has a more petite body shape than many full size guitars, measuring 13 ¾” at the lower bout. It has a 650mm scale length, 52mm nut width, and a comfortable classical guitar neck profile. Additional features include a Spanish cedar neck topped with an African ebony fingerboard, flamed maple binding, intricate pearloid rosette, nitrocellulose finish, and Esteso’s 5-fan bracing pattern. Cordoba added a few modern refinements such as a truss rod, geared tuning machines, durable finish, and non-gut strings. The result is an instrument that exemplifies authentic Esteso designs, voicing, and feel, and captures a rare piece of guitar making history.

Cordoba then partnered with Francisco Navarro Garcia, who is building each Esteso model with a small team of only a few builders, using traditional Spanish techniques in an old world-style workshop in Paracho, Mexico.

This is a refurbished instrument. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected and cleared by a certified technician. The guitars are sent there for many reasons, including: Cosmetic flaws, Minor repairs & Discontinued models.

Most of the Instruments that we sell have no flaws. For any that do, we will describe the flaw or repair in the listing and include a photo if it is visible. Some item specifics may vary from stock description above. "The actual guitar for sale is shown in the photographs"

All of our guitars come with a new standard factory setup, but may require a small amount of fine tuning to fit the players personal taste. In order to prevent false warranty claims, the guitar is given a new serial number and the back of the head-stock is lightly stamped "used" or "2nd" by the authorized refurbishing center. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new!

Condition: The guitar had a minor bridge repair (re-glue) by an Authorized Licenced Technician. It is hardly noticeable and does not affect the guitars tone, play-ability or structural integrity in any way. When the techs do these repairs you can expect them to be even better than original. Otherwise, it is in like new mint condition. Save Big!
