Description & Specs

Cordoba's 55FCE is a stunning classical guitar with a bright, articulate voice, making it a must-have tool for any gigging musician. Its rich Honey Amber finish gives it a classic aesthetic to complement its gorgeous tone, while its Fishman electronics give it all the volume and power needed to perform with modern ensembles. And thanks to its thinner body design, the 55FCE is incredibly comfortable and feedback resistant.

Handcrafted in Spain with a flamed maple body and a solid European spruce top, the Cordoba 55FCE projects a crystal-clear tone with the perfect balance of warmth and brightness. Its traditional Spanish-style fan bracing allows the soundboard to move more freely, enhancing its volume and low-end response. Guitarists will also appreciate its thin 2.75" body, which makes it more comfortable to play and tightens up its tone for a more focused, present sound.

The Cordoba 55FCE boasts an advanced Fishman Prefix Problend pickup system that gives it an incredible amplified voice. This system pairs an internal microphone with a piezo pickup, allowing players to experiment with a wide range of exceptional tones. Whether you prefer the brilliance and clarity of the piezo pickup, the warmth and woodiness of the internal mic, or something in between, the Problend system has exactly what you need to sculpt your dream tone.

Complete with a Humicase Protégé Thinbody Classical case, the Cordoba 55FCE is a first-rate classical guitar that perfectly marries traditional designs with modern enhancements. Check it out today if you've been in the market for an incredible nylon string guitar that looks great, plays remarkably well, and sounds even better!
